Stage machinery

The drives enable high dynamic movements as well as reliable smooth and safe behavior in all kinds of operations modes. With lower stage machinery, the machines generally have smaller dimensions than electromechanical drives. Their compactness represents a considerable space advantage. Moreover, hydraulic drives can execute highly dynamic movements silently and with astonishing smoothness. This is particularly beneficial for trap lifts, stage lifts and stage elevators.
Safety installations
To prevent the occurrence of overpressure in the stage area, safety engineering technology such as technical fire safety devices are installed to eliminate smoke quickly if necessary. Reliable and simple operation is ensured by independence from the mains electricity supply, typically using hydraulic cylinder drives. It is customary practice nowadays to operate stage safety devices hydraulically or by combining an electric drive with a hydraulic brake, because these designs most reliably comply with the technical safety requirements.

Stage decorations
If they are to succeed as showstoppers, these mechanically operated special decoration sets have to perform perfectly reliably despite the use of simplified engineering. They must also be capable of quick assembly and dismantling. Here again, Rexroth’s hydraulic drive technology offers the ideal solution for stage decorations. Thanks to the minimal noise, special sets can be moved without interrupting the performance. The entries and exits are executed smoothly, without jerks or jolts, and avoiding any rattling of the decoration.
Energy supply
