Electrode production
Regardless of the type of cell or battery produced, Bosch Rexroth understands the entire production process: Whether it be dosing, mixing, coating, drying or compacting. Rexroth automation solutions offer significant advantages for the entire production process and help you to increase your productivity and save resources.

Cell manufacturing
Bosch Rexroth relies on fully solution-oriented battery cell manufacturing. Cylindrical, prismatic, as a pouch or solid state – the cells are a critical factor when it comes to the design, performance and quality of your batteries. Bosch Rexroth’s solutions portfolio and expertise help you optimize the costs, quality and throughput of your cell production.
- Flexible Transport System (FTS): for transporting and positioning materials and work pieces.
- Smart Function Kit Pressing: Modular servo press for flexible pressing and joining processes
- VarioFlow plastic chain conveyor: for high automation densities and tight spaces
- Transfer system TS2 plus (booster): for short cycle transfer. Reduces cycle times and positions battery cells with great precision.
- ctrlX CORE: open PLC control system connects IT and OT with the ctrlX PLC and ctrlX IOT Apps
Module assembly
Bosch Rexroth thinks in complete solutions – also for modules. Battery packs require high-precision positioning of the cells and time-saving module assembly with accurate movements and fast materials transport. In addition to the reliable transportation of heavy pack modules, professional tightening methods are also required here.

Pack assembly
It’s all about the flow: for example, heavy pack modules require reliable, safe, but efficient transportation. The Bosch Rexroth solution portfolio provides all the components for advanced battery pack assembly.

End-of-line testing
When it comes to end-of-line battery testing systems for mass-produced vehicles, maximum efficiency, quality and safety are needed. This is why Bosch Rexroth’s end-of-line testing systems combine modern testing software with the latest generation of high-performance industrial converters.
